"I have taken some lessons with Itamar and can give him my highest recommendations as a teacher.
His broad musical skill base can only be an asset for any student, whether a beginner or advanced, young or old, someone wishing to get back into playing, or a musician wishing to delve into some new stylistic approaches or follow a more classical-based curriculum. Itamar is patient and encouraging and will help you on your musical journey. If this interests you, please don’t hesitate to connect with this amazing musician and teacher!"
Peter Zaenker, Musician & Music Teacher
"Itamar was my instructor at a guitar workshop last summer. I was so impressed with his way that I asked if he would take me on as a full time student.
It has been a year now and I have improved more with Itamar than any instructor in the past.
At this years workshop I received several compliments from fellow students as to how much I had improved over last year. If you are looking for a teacher you will do yourself a favour taking lessons with Itamar."
David Cant, guitar student
"...I really cannot say enough good things about my teacher, Itamar Erez!
I am a great admirer of Itamar’s music and his musicianship. He melds flamenco techniques with middle eastern modes and rhythms, and flavors it all with jazz harmonies and sensibilities, creating a style and a sound that is completely unique. He uses his thumb like a risha, allowing his guitar to sound like an oud; and he plays in unusual time signatures with an impeccable sense of timing. If I could play what I hear in my mind, it would sound like Itamar!"
