Itamar Erez is an award winning composer, guitarist, pianist, and improviser whose music turns cultural dialogue into deeply human concert experience.
Moving between a unique guitar and piano, he creates microtonal colours and immersive musical landscapes rarely heard in contemporary instrumental music.

Recipient of the 2014 ACUM Prize for Special Achievement in Jazz and the prestigious 2014 Landau Prize, Itamar Erez is an internationally renowned composer and guitarist who has shared the stage with such musicians as Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Tomatito, Avishai Cohen, Jean-Louis Matinier, Zohar Fresco, and others.
Itamar has released seven albums to date, including "Desert Song" (2006) and "Hommage" (2010), "New Dawn" (2013), "Mi Alegria" (2019), "May Song" (2022), “Migrant Voices” (2024) and "Songs Reimagined" (2026)
Alongside his ensemble work, Erez’s solo performances have become an increasingly important expression of his artistry. Whether performing original compositions or spontaneous improvisations, he creates immersive musical landscapes that reflect his diverse cultural influences and lifelong exploration of musical dialogue and storytelling.
